Mr. Du Guodong Appointed as Lecturer at Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy

We are proud to announce that on October 18, 2022, Mr. Du Guodong, the Executive President of the Arab-China Institute for Economics and Policy (ACIEP), has been honored with an invitation to serve as a lecturer at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy. This prestigious opportunity came about after a productive video conference with the Dean of the Judicial Academy.

With a distinguished career spanning over 15 years as a practicing lawyer in China, Mr. Du brings with him a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the Academy. Currently a partner at Hylands Law Firm, Mr. Du’s extensive legal journey includes over 12 years at Dentons.

In addition to his impressive professional accolades, Mr. Du Guodong also holds a research position at the renowned China University of Political Science and Law. His dedication to expanding the global understanding of Chinese laws has seen him introduce Chinese legal frameworks to foreign investors and traders, making him an ideal fit for the role at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy.

As part of his commitment, Mr. Du expressed his enthusiasm in fostering collaborations and strengthening the bond between the legal communities in Abu Dhabi and China. He assured that his tenure would emphasize promoting bilateral exchanges between the two legal landscapes.
